1. Scope
This Policy applies to personal information processed in connection with:
- our marketing website at www.getrehive.com and related pages;
- the ReHive platform (accounts, workspaces, booking, payments, store, websites, team tools, and related product features); and
- communications you exchange with us, including email to hello@getrehive.com.
ReHive helps owner-led businesses professionalize operations, save time and money, reduce owner dependence, and prepare to grow or exit. ReHive provides operating software and related services. We are not a law firm, accounting firm, broker, or valuation practice.
2. Information we collect
2.1 Information you provide
Depending on how you use ReHive, you may provide:
- Contact and identity details — name, email address, phone number, company name, and similar account or lead information.
- Marketing and inquiry details — name, email, phone, company name, business website, whether you are looking to grow or sell, your biggest bottleneck, optional notes, and other information submitted through the contact form on getrehive.com.
- Account and workspace details — login identifiers, business profile information, branding, locations, services, products, team members, schedules, policies, and other content you configure in the platform.
- Customer and transaction data you enter or collect through ReHive — for example customer names, contact details, appointment and order information, notes, and related business records you choose to store in your workspace.
- Payment-related information — billing details and transaction records. Card numbers and sensitive payment credentials are processed by our payment processor; ReHive does not store full payment card numbers on its servers.
- Communications — emails, texts, support requests, and other messages you send us or that are sent through platform features you enable.
2.2 Information collected automatically
When you visit or use our Services, we and our providers may automatically collect device and usage information such as IP address, browser type, device identifiers, operating system, referring URLs, pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP, timestamps, and interaction data (for example clicks, form starts, and feature use).
We may also store preferences locally on your device (for example light/dark theme) so the site remembers your settings.
2.3 Information from service providers and public sources
We may receive information from authentication providers, payment processors, communications providers, analytics providers, and hosting or infrastructure vendors that help us operate the Services. If you use features that analyze a public business website you provide, we may retrieve publicly available page content you point us to for that purpose.
3. How we use information
We use personal information to:
- provide, operate, secure, and improve the Services;
- create and manage accounts, workspaces, and access controls;
- respond to inquiries and provide customer support;
- process bookings, orders, payments, and related notifications;
- send transactional messages (for example confirmations, reminders, receipts, and security notices);
- send product or marketing communications where permitted, with opt-out available;
- analyze usage, diagnose issues, prevent abuse and fraud, and measure performance;
- comply with law, enforce our terms, and protect rights, safety, and property; and
- develop and improve features, including educational readiness or diagnostic tools when available.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use information submitted through marketing inquiries or educational analysis tools to make automated decisions about credit, employment, insurance eligibility, or similar legally significant determinations.
4. Platform customers and end-customer data
If you use the ReHive platform to run a business (for example booking, storefront, websites, customers, team, or payments), you determine what business and customer information you upload or collect. In that relationship:
- You are responsible for providing required notices to your customers and obtaining consents required by law for your use of ReHive (including SMS or email reminders you enable).
- ReHive processes that information to provide the Services to you, subject to this Policy, our Terms, and any separate data processing terms we offer for business customers.
Do not use ReHive to collect or store information you are not authorized to process. Do not submit passwords for third-party systems, government ID numbers, or other highly sensitive data unless a feature expressly requires it and you have a lawful basis.
5. Service providers
We use vendors that process information on our behalf to operate the Services. Depending on which features you use, this may include providers for:
- Authentication and identity (for example WorkOS);
- Payments (for example Stripe);
- Email delivery (for example Resend);
- SMS and voice messaging (for example Twilio);
- Analytics (for example Google Analytics on the marketing site);
- Maps / places lookup where enabled (for example Google Places);
- Hosting, databases, object storage, and infrastructure; and
- Security, monitoring, and support tooling.
These providers are authorized to process information only as needed to perform services for ReHive and are expected to protect it under contractual and technical safeguards appropriate to their role.
6. Analytics, cookies, and similar technologies
Our marketing site uses Google Analytics (property ID G-YV5PDP68X1) to understand visits and interactions. Google may use cookies or similar identifiers and process information about your use of the site. Learn more in Google’s partner sites policy.
The platform may also use first-party product analytics and, where a business customer enables them, optional downstream analytics destinations for customer websites hosted or managed through ReHive.
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Some features may not function fully if you disable certain storage. Where required by law, we will request consent before enabling nonessential tracking.
8. Retention and security
We retain personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including to provide the Services, maintain business records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal, tax, and accounting requirements. When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it where practical.
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of certain personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, or to opt out of certain uses. You may also unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time.
To make a privacy request, email hello@getrehive.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing certain requests. If you are an end customer of a business that uses ReHive, please contact that business first for requests about data they control in their workspace.
10. Children
The Services are intended for business use by adults. They are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
11. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the Services evolve. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we post material revisions. Continued use of the Services after an update means you acknowledge the revised Policy.
